Toitu te Mana
Toitū te Mana/Economic, enterprise and innovation is responsible for:
- Overall Group Planning and Monitoring of subsidiary and new organisation performance (direct link between this role and Audit Komiti).
- Co-ordinating Internal Audit.
- Co-ordinating Ngāi Tahu research and development, and managing relationships with research providers and development agencies.
- Assisting Rūnanga and Regional clusters with economic development strategies. Providing business support for the development of innovative projects and solutions (incubation support) in Iwi Environment and Whānau Development.
- Providing contract management and funding support to Iwi Environment and Whānau Development.
- Identifying and developing new ideas and enterprises with a strong focus on opportunities within the rohe.
- Te Hapai O provides support services to Toitū te Whenua, Toitū te Iwi and Toitū te Mana and in the structure sits in Toitū te Mana.
- Protecting Ngāi Tahu Whakapapa information and administering the tribal membership register.
